About Aberdare Ranges
The Aberdare Ranges are a dramatic highland chain stretching across Central Kenya. The national park covers a remarkable diversity of ecosystems, dense rainforest, bamboo forest, open moorland and alpine heath. Hiking in the Aberdares is cathedral-quiet, mossy and atmospheric. Wildlife encounters are common, elephant, buffalo, colobus monkey and bushbuck appear through the mist.
