About Mt. Longonot
Mount Longonot is a dormant stratovolcano rising 2,776 metres above the Rift Valley floor in Nakuru County. The 7.2km crater rim circuit offers panoramic views: Lake Naivasha to the north, the Rift Valley escarpment in both directions, and the dense forest filling the crater floor 890 metres below. It is one of Kenya's most accessible and rewarding day hikes.
