How to apply for a Kenya eVisa

Visit the official portal
Go to etakenya.go.ke, the official Kenya eVisa portal. Avoid third-party sites that charge extra fees.

Create an account
Register with your email address and create a password. You will use this account to track your application.

Complete the application
Fill in your personal details, passport information, travel dates and accommodation in Kenya.

Upload documents
Upload a clear photo of your passport bio page, a passport-sized photo, and your yellow fever certificate if required.

Pay the visa fee
USD 50 for a single entry eVisa or USD 100 for the East Africa Tourist Visa. Payment by card online.

Receive your eVisa
Your approved eVisa will be emailed to you within 3 to 5 business days. Print it and carry it with your passport.
🎉 Visa-free access
Citizens of East African Community countries (Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan, DRC) do not need a visa to enter Kenya. Some Commonwealth and other countries also enjoy visa-free or visa-on-arrival access. Check the official Kenya Immigration portal for your specific country.
